The learning experience
of your life
Marco Polo was a traveler that learned 4 languages during his trips around the world. We believe that traveling to a foreign country is the best way to learn a language, that’s why we have developed this academic curriculum to support all Spanish high school programs in the United States. This program is an intensive immersion Spanish language program that uses the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) teaching method.
CLIL is an academic teaching method that allows students to learn about any subject while at the same time learning a new language, that is why this educational approach is a very useful way to learn Spanish.
With Marco Polo in Madrid, students will be exposed to the language, the culture, and the knowledge that native Spanish speakers are influenced by, such as museums, libraries, and other cultural settings.
Spanish in the United States
Forbes magazine published an article that stated that 13% of the population in the United States speaks Spanish. That makes the U.S. the second largest population of Spanish speakers in the world, just after Mexico!
Being bilingual in the U.S. is now more important than ever because it is an opportunity to access new markets or job opportunities and the chance to communicate with this country’s 40 million Spanish speakers.
Marco Polo in Madrid will prepare the students to compete in future professional settings.
